Marshall Brown is the lead minister at Flagstone. He spent the bulk of his "growing up" years in Ft. Smith, Arkansas, before attending Harding University. He began working as youth minister at Southside Church of Christ in Rogers, Arkansas, in June 1995, just after graduating with a B.A. in Bible from Harding. He served as youth minister for 11
years and then was asked to begin serving as the associate minister at Southside in July 2006. He joined several families from Southside in planting the Flagstone church
in April 2010, and has enjoyed watching God do amazing things through this church family ever since.
While at Harding, he met Kristy Alexander, and they were married on May 18, 1996. They have been blessed with three wonderful boys: Ethan, Griffin, and Tyson.
Kristy BrownChildren's Ministry
Kristy is in charge of our children's ministry at Flagstone. She began worshipping and working with Marshall at Southside Church of Christ in Rogers, Arkansas, after they were married on May 18, 1996. She holds a bachelors degree in elementary education from Harding University and a masters degree in counseling from Harding as well.
Besides coordinating our children's activities and worship on Sunday mornings at Flagstone, Kristy serves as a school counselor and literacy coach in Rogers Public Schools. She also spends time trying to keep up with her three wonderfully active boys: Ethan, Griffin, and Tyson.
Our Youth Ministry is lead by Brandon Dodd along with many parents and volunteers. Brandon graduated from Harding University in May of 2016 and has been the Youth Minister of the Flagstone Teens since June of that year. In November, 2016 he married Morgan, his best friend and partner in ministry, and together they started a life in Rogers, AR as Brandon accepted the Youth Minister position at Flagstone and Morgan took a job as a RN in a clinic associated with Mercy Hospital.
Brandon is a Texan at heart (along with some of that “Texas arrogance”, he supposes), loves to work with wood, enjoy time outdoors, and spend time with his beautiful wife and their two dogs: Milo and Tyson.
Mike Saegert makes his home in Siloam Springs where he manages the family business, G & S Shoes, which was established in 1944. He married Gayla Hughes on June 21, 1983, and both of them graduated from Harding University in 1986 with degrees in marketing and mathematics. Gayla teaches in the math department at Siloam Springs High School. They are blessed to have three adult children who live nearby. Although the demands of shepherding the Flagstone members, running the business, and spending time with family are great, Mike enjoys a good game of golf whenever he can.
Chris Horton is a member of the original group that planted Flagstone. He and his wife Connie have been married since 1993 and along with their children, Turner and Emma Kate, have lived in Rogers since 1999.
Tom smith has been a member of Flagstone for 4 years. He is married to Wendy and they have two daughters Cate and Camille. They live in Bentonville and he serves as a Benton county circuit judge and Wendy works as a nurse.
